Janneke De Rooij^(NL)

Janneke de Rooij uses graphic design as a medium to question stereotypical views. In her projects she involves the public through workshops and social interventions in search of alternative ideas about current social issues. The commisioned work of her studio Ohyescoolgreat focuses on bringing all different ideas and messages into a strong graphic statement. In 2014 she started teaching Design and Exploration at the Willem de Kooning Academy.

A project encouraging Europeans, all countries and all layers of the population to think about their European identity. A crowdsourced animation film that is looking for a common ground between Europeans and goes beyond the headlines of the news.
