Anouk Horsten^(BE)

Anouk Horsten (°1995) finished her Masters degree Graphic Design at St Lucas School of Arts in Antwerp in 2017. Being fascinated by the editorial aspects of photography, she likes to examine the dark side of the human being in order to capture its often unrevealed and wrongful nature. Her pictures therefore show some kind of strange alienation, leaving the spectator behind with an undetermined feeling. Having no predefined way of working, she likes to switch from digital to analog and vice versa. Her way of presenting this photographical/editorial work depends on which atmosphere she likes to create. Anouk is always in pursuit of the right setting and frame on each location.
