Mieke Hooghe^(BE)

Mieke Hooghe (°1988, Kortrijk) graduated from St Lucas School of Arts Antwerp as a master in Graphic Design in 2015, and moved on to a postgraduate degree in Research in Art and Design in 2016.

She enjoys walking the thin line between design and craftsmanship, between craftsmanship and art, between art and writing, between writing and storytelling, between storytelling and being a professional liar.

She’s currently most active as fellow head of the Art-and Design collective ONBETAALBAAR, a Ghent-based group of artists, thinkers, woodworkers and other socially driven creators.

Mieke will moderate the main lectures together with Thomas Crombez and Hugo Puttaert.
